Our Founder, Creator & Managing Director of Daisa Original Designs Ltd.
Daisa Morgan is a storyteller, dreamer, and creative force whose enchanting imagination has given life to two beloved brands: Fingley World and Dodl and Dottie.
A proud "Yorkshire Lass," Daisa's journey into the world of magical storytelling began with an early fascination with childhood classics, particularly Peter Rabbit and the whimsical Paddington Bear mural she admired as a child in Doncaster. Little did she know, she would one day craft her own cherished characters that inspire and delight children around the world.
The Birth of Dodl Bear
Dodl Bear was born from Daisa’s commitment to fostering kindness, creativity, and wonder. Fingley World was conceived during her time living in a serene eco-village in Findhorn, Scotland. It was here, in a cupboard under the stairs, that Dodl first took shape—not just as a product, but as a symbol of simple, loving deeds that ripple through the world. His name is an acronym for Doing Ordinary Deeds Lovingly.
The Creation of Fingley World
Inspired by her everyday experiences and the beauty of nature around her, Daisa began weaving tales of Fingley World: a magical land where imagination thrives, and every character and place holds a special lesson about courage, friendship, and the environment. From these stories grew an entire universe of books, merchandise, and captivating retail experiences that transport children to a realm of discovery and delight.
A Philosophy Rooted in People and Purpose
At the heart of Daisa’s creative ventures is her spirited belief that "People Matter." This philosophy has not only shaped her storytelling but also the values of Daisa Original Designs Ltd, a company built on fostering human connection, inspiring creativity, and nurturing kindness. Her life experiences, from childhood inspiration to personal growth, have shaped her vision and strengthened her resolve to create brands that resonate across generations.

Passion for overcoming rejection, dictated the following years - understanding, learning and organically creating Partnership Publishing, an independent publishing house in which they are able to share their knowledge, experience and passion for publishing untold stories, giving people a voice and Magic Moon Books a growing imprint, devoted to children's picture books, early readers and young adult.
MEET FLORENCE
In 2012 Daisa was joined by Florence Hannath who over the preceding years has also become a Director of Daisa Original Designs Ltd, Head of the Brand Licensing and Publishing divisions. A gradual expansion has meant that they now have their own In-house Illustrators, Editors and Social Media Manager in their team.
